Welcome. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. Before becoming a therapist, I was a Division I basketball player at Pepperdine University, an experience that continues to shape how I understand discipline, pressure, identity, and resilience.
Growing up in competitive athletics, I became familiar with both the visible and less visible aspects of performance, including the internal demands, expectations, and emotional complexity that often accompany it. That perspective informs my work, particularly with individuals navigating high-pressure environments, identity transitions, or a strong drive toward achievement.
My clinical experience spans crisis stabilization settings, school-based work, and private practice, where I’ve worked with children, adolescents, and adults across a wide range of concerns. These experiences have deepened my ability to sit with complexity and meet clients where they are, rather than moving too quickly toward solutions.
I approach therapy with curiosity and careful attention. I’m less interested in quick fixes and more interested in understanding the patterns, relationships, and internal experiences that shape how you move through the world. This includes paying attention to both what is immediately present and what may sit just outside of awareness.
My work is grounded in a psychodynamic and depth-oriented perspective, with attention to the ways past and present experiences intersect.
I also value ongoing self-reflection in my own work and life, which informs how I show up in the therapy room. I understand that engaging in therapy can feel both meaningful and vulnerable, and I aim to create a space that feels steady, thoughtful, and nonjudgmental.
